      Hi,

i have a setup with more AD-Directories. So i created a Debian Server (7.5 Wheezy) with slapd and queried there all Directory servers.
Which works fine, after modifing squid.inc to disable referrals, like described here.
      https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=45996.msg269648

But now i want also to use squidGuard, but there the group specific ACL wont work.
I looks like the user does not get applied the correct group.

      So my questions are:

      • how can i disable referrals within SquidGuard?

      • how can i check what groups a user get applied?

      greets from Bavaria
      Thomas

        Hi,

        got one step further.

squidGuard seeems also to have troubles with referrals.
When I define the searchbase directly at the OU for an AD within metadirectory it seeems to work.

lets see, how it's going on.

        best regards

          Hi,

this problem with squidguard still occur with PFsense 2.2.6.
The modification for squid3 seems not to be neccessary anymore.

Does there exist any ideas to solve this issue?

          best regards
          Thomas
