Add TOTP one-time passwords to FreeRadius

I have been using PFSense for a while. It is fantastic.
But there is one feature I would really LOVE for you to add.
FreeRadius TOTP passwords. Right now it supports MOTP which really is not widely used.
I am using this specifically to allow me to use one time passwords with my OpenVPN connection to my home network.
I actually hacked in a fix for myself that works, but every time there is a PFSense release update I have to reapply my hack.
It would be nice if TOTP for FreeRadius was supported out of the box. Would this be possible?
