Chromecast issues

I think the way I have my stuff setup is a bit unorthodox, but I hope that someone can help me figure this out. Here is my current config: http://imgur.com/Ninz4iR
I did some research and found that I need to enable something called "Allow intra-BSS communication" on the "Wireless" interface, which for me is not possible since I am using a Netgear router for my wireless needs, which is hooked directly up to the "OPT1" (currently called "WiFi") nic on my pfSense box. I did go ahead and enable UpNp in pfSense and it was already running on the Netgear router. My only issue now is how do I get chromecast to work when I have two separate LANs essentially?!?! the main LAN is 192.168.32.1/24 DHCP: 192.168.32.13-.20 and the WiFi "LAN" is 192.168.124/24 DHCP: 192.168.124.54-.58. With NAT set to auto and all my devices so far are able to connect to the internet, aside for chromecast. Not sure what I need to enable/disable. I am sort of new to pfSense, and this is throwing me for a loop. -
i dont own a chromecast to test this, but i'd suggest you try avahi package

intra-bss just means allow wireless to talk to each other. If your using a wireless AP or wifi router for your wifi.. Then the setting would be on there. Also called AP isolation or wireless isolation. Here this article shows you how to turn it on for many routers.

So just do the opposite ;) Uncheck the box for your specific netgear model..
But chromecast doesn't like subnets.. So if you want devices on your lan to be able to use your chromecast, your going to want to plug your AP into your lan network so you just have 1 big layer 2 vs different ones.
avahi could let it work across subnet.. I do believe it uses mdns which avahi will proxy for y ou. Just utterly moronic if you ask me.. In this day and age company thinking - well home users only have 1 segment.. Should should be able to put in the IP or fqdn of the chromecast to be able to stream to it, etc.

If I'm reading this correctly, and correct me if I'm wrong, but you want me to have my Netgear router acting just like it would if I was using it with a modem and no pfSense box between the two? If yes, then that is what I am doing, except I have the "Use Router as DHCP Server" under "LAN Setup" NOT checked. So in theory my chromecast should be working when I connect to the WiFi from my phone? As far as the subnet goes, shouldn't I be able to add the Netgear to the LAN by having it on my 192.168.x.1 with an IP of 192.168.x.4 and the clients be getting IP leases from a separate DHCP pool, all while being on the same subnet/IP range?
EDIT:
To take back what I just wrote, seeing as I just got it working without having to do much more configuration with pfSense nor the subnets/IP address. I started the chromecast up and upon setting it up via the app and connecting it to my WiFi network it's working now. Not sure why it wasn't last night. Thank you for the help/info. -
Errr uh no.
1/ The router should NOT be routing.
2/ Disable intra-BSS isolation.
