    Need help perl: warning: Setting locale failed.

      the squid package from the GUI is 3.3 package! I need 3.5.x,

        On 2.3.3, it is squid 3.5.x

          thank you! My machine is i386, Last time I install 2.3.3 I cannot saw that! I will try it to install later. thanks again!

            I Already fresh install pfsense 2.3.3 the error above was gone. but there is another error in squid3.5.23

            I am using Hard Disk Cache System: aufs

              Frankly, the days of x86 are numbered. Noone's testing anything there.

                  Get a 64bit capable HW. (And if you already have it, stop installing i386 version on it.)

                        @jimp sir I fresh install my pfsense 2.3.3 the youtube cache is not working anymore. my config and refresh pattern and storeid is same to my last pfsense 2.2.6, but in pfsense 2.2.6 it was cache the youtube video, but after I installed the pfsense 2.3.3 and restore the config from 2.2.6 and resinstall the squid3.5.x and squidguard the youtube videos does not cache anymore? what is the different of perl from 2.2.6 and 2.3.3? thanks in advance.

                          Trying to cache YT is an exercise in futility. It doesn't work because that completely broken feature has been removed (ditto for Windows Update and bunch of others).

                            thanks for the reply! before I update to pfsense 2.3.3 my squid3.5 is working with youtube cache but after install then pfsense 2.3.3 then youtube cache is not working anymore. it always tcp miss 200. I am using this https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2342388

                              The original subject of this thread has been solved. For help with squid, create a new post in the Cache/Proxy board and ask there if you still have questions or problems.
