Does anyone have any comment on OpenVPN performance in 2.2 vs 2.1 branch?

Can OpenVPN use more than one core?

Each separate instance would use one core each, so if you have a bunch of site-to-site tunnels static each on it's own tunnel it would spread the load around.

IIRC multi-threading is on their todo list for OpenVPN 3.0

Their Access Server product already has a way to spawn multiple daemons for handling client connections somehow but I don't believe that feature has made its way into the community edition.

          Ok. Thanks.

Seems like I have to update the trusty old Intel D2500CC then. Currently it manages about 80 Mbit/s throughput on one core.
