This MB is supposed to be supported. pfsense 2.3.2
Everything installs fine and reboots and the pfsense boot menu apears then it stops at Booting…/
that's it...I have tried with both an P-ATA and S-ATA drive... I have tried every possible settings in the BIOS. Updated the BIOS... Dissabled the USB, every possible IDE settings... it just stops there and that's it...
Any advise would be apreciated
Thanks

Perhaps it is a BIOS incompatibility or another things related to the BIOS or other hardware that is soldered on that board.

Did you use 32 or 64bit install ?
Did you disable the onboard audio card ?
Do you install from a USB stick or cd ?
What type of extra LAN nic did you install and which type , PCI-Express or PCI ?
When connecting the Sata drive, did you use the RED Sata connections on the motherbord ?Grtz

I had a similar problem on a P5WD2 Premium.
You'll need to install pfSense on a separate computer. Even a laptop will suffice.
Do a custom installation and choose the root partition "/" to be no more than 2GB and the next partition to be "/usr" and be set to no more than 8GB. The last partition should be "var" and set it to *. There is a BIOS limitation with FreeBSD 10 and older that the boot sector has to be on an early sector range on the HDD
When the installation has completed it will reboot the system. Have your BIOS pre-set with a boot password so that you can interrupt the boot process before it gets to pfSense. Turn off the system and pull the HDD and insert it into your intended pfSense system.
Let me know if that helps.

Where did you get that information from ?
