I've been trying to find an answer to this, but, so far, have failed.  Hopefully someone can help me.

I have Verizon FIOS for Internet and TV, and a pfSense house router.  The pfSense WAN port is connected to the ONT Ethernet port, and the Verizon router's WAN port is connected to a separate LAN port on the pfSense box (there's one LAN segment for my home lan, and a separate LAN segment, on a separate physical port, for the Verizon router).  The  Verizon router, ONT, and STB are all connected via coax and a splitter.

The STB is working, and I can get TV, guide, video on demand, and DVR functionality.  However, Quantum doesn't seem to be working - I cannot connect from either the Verizon website, or the mobile apps, to the router to do things like Remote DVR.

Is there a way to accomplish this without putting the Verizon router in front of the pfSense (something I'd rather avoid)?  Info on the internet seems conflicting on this, and most of it is at least a few years old.

The Verizon router is an Actiontec MI424WR and the STB is an Arris VMS1100

      Any help greatly appreciated.
