How to install a backup

I made the mistake of spoofing my wifi and lan mac addresses and now I get no internet and I can't access pfsense. How do I install a backup or restore my config?

Use the "console" Option 15 "Restore recent configuration"

I tried that already and no luck. I downloaded a backup before I screwed it up. I just don't know how to install it without being able to access the gui.

You can reset to factory defaults at the console, then access the webGUI at 192.168.1.1 on the default LAN. Then restore your known good config.
