How can I tell the version of pfsense I am using?

I am using a version of pfsense that got reconfiged and resold under a vendor name, …
the /etc/version file is changed
is there a way for me to tell what version I have installed another way ?

Has the title in the console view been rebadged as well?

Log into pfsense.  On the main status screen you will see a version.  Alternatively you can cat /etc/version from a shell.
