Squid 3.3.10, pkg 2.2.5, pfSense 2.1.3, Errors and Transparent fail
-
Dell Optiplex 755, E3110 CPU, 4GB ram, 500GB hdd, intel dual port nic
Installed 2.1.3 64-bit from CD, restored configuration, install squid3-dev.
System log contains a few of these:
php: /pkg_edit.php: The command '/usr/pbi/squid-amd64/sbin/squid -k reconfigure -f /usr/pbi/squid-amd64/etc/squid/squid.conf' returned exit code '1', the output was 'squid: ERROR: No running copy'cache.log contains errors about parsing error-details.txt, sendto FD 19 Operation not permitted, CHILD: hello write test failed.
If I tick Transparent HTTP Proxy, web traffic stops.
access.log is empty.
Got pretty much same results when I tried squid2.
Are these errors normal? Any other info I can provide to help figure this out?
Thanks!

Disable antivirus
Diagnostics -> Command prompt ->

Thanks lizdainis, hope things worked out well for you. I went back and got 2.7 working.
Something about downloading 6 libraries from somewhere seemed like not time for me to be doing squid3-dev yet.

i'm running 3.3.10 pkg 2.2.5 using i386 firmware with no issues.. I'm not running in Transparent mode, but i do have anti-virus enabled (clamd)
The files that are listed are from the developers file repository. I think there has been issues to get the right files merge into the package pbi file
