Can anyone provide links to the standard factory firmware packages to re-install on an existing pfsense official hardware piece ?
As well as image transfer instructions ?

      thanks

        Update:
Found a link to the firmware. Downloaded the ADI and standart .img files. Connected to the serial port using "Serial" on a mac, inserted bootable usb key in top usb slot, turned SG-4860 on, it will not boot from USB, Status light remains solid Red.
I have a SATA SSD and I feel it may be corrupted. Not sure how to proceed from here.

        Help please  :-[

Is there a hardware setting I can check to ensure the unit boots from the USB slot ?

Factory firmware is available on portal.pfsense.org after you register your device. If this is a new purchase you can register on pfsense.org/activate

Netgate ADI is the correct image however solid red status means something else is going on. Please contact our support at https://customercare.netgate.com - you will need to register.

            Thanks for the info,
I have purchased this particular unit in 2015 when it came out and a subsequent one for a network that I manage a year later. The newer one is rock solid, but this one I need to find out what is going on.
I was registered with pfsense at the time but it apears that my info is nowhere to be found on the site…

            thanks
