        Try adding a CA certificate from System > Cert manager. After that Services>FreeRadius>EAP and then select SSL CA Certificate and SSL Server Certificate.

        Restart service and see check. A package service does not start in pfsense until it is configured. The latest FreeRadius Package needs a CA cert to work since freeradius has stopped using its on certificate manager in the latest release.

          @knightv:

          i can't start …..

          Another issue : You saw the : "Unable to check for updates"  ?
          Much is said already on the forum about that one.

          Btw : the log lines you showed explain the problem very well : FreeRadius can't load the certificate and bails out.

          No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
          Edit : and where are the logs ??
