      what is vlan 2502:4 and vlan 0:35 that makes no sense for vlan ID..

      Your drawing is confusing.. Is your switch smart?  Does it handle vlans.. Here is the thing if you want to do anything that would involve vlans - get a switch that supports them..

          Yeah you do need switch smart if you want to do this correctly!! And sorry those are not valid vlan IDs

          There is no such thing as a vlan id of 2502:4

            I was going to say is that what a QinQ vlan id looks like?

            But you wouldn't have a outer of 0 and an inner of 35, the outer would need to be 1 or greater.

                  Looks like the number after the : is the vlan priority and in the diagram you have 35:0 round the wrong way after looking at your screenshot.

                  So you have vlan 35 priority 0, vlan 2504 priority 4.

                  Interfaces -> VLANs -> Edit

                  Create VLAN 35 on the parent interface and add a priority of 0

                  Create VLAN 2404 on the parent interface and add a priority of 4

                  Do you have two internet connections, the PPPOE Gateway and internet via the convertor ?

                  You'll need a switch for sure if your talking about replacing the TP-Link device.

                      Never seen priority documented that way.. And as mentioned you couldn't have a vlan id 0 with 35 priority ;)

                      But if that is your priority then sure you can set that with pfsense.  That model of tplink here in the us does not support vlans like that.  Not any of the emulators I have seen or manuals have read.  The best solution for breaking out your internet and iptv via vlans would be at the switch level.. Break that out before it even gets to pfsense.

                          IGMP Proxy could be your pitfall.

                          Which version IGMP do you need, and something special like v3 with SSM or so?
                          That's what you need for German Telekom's IP-TV (T-Entertain) which pfSense fails to deliver, considering it a niche only.
