Which Caching Proxy?

Hi all,
I've already mooched around and not found the confirmation I am looking for, which probably means I've already answered my own question :)
So far I've had no need to use a proxy on my setup.
I am seeking to discover if any of the proxy pakages can be configured to only cache updates for windows programs like adobe, java etc?
I am already using WSUS for ms pataches and I know you can retro-config that for adobe and the likes but that is well out of my comfort zone.
Any pointers at all?
