Restoring Webgui on Pfsense
-
Hello, everyone!
I'm new here the forum, but I am writing my first topic. I need help.
I am studying pfsense but I set my WebGUI pfsense and accidently I dropped some settings defaults the pfsense, now I need restore default the WebGUI. I would like to know how to do this? I was searching the forum but I didn't find it some issue.
(Ps. Sorry my English, because I'm not native :)
Thanks.

It is not clear from your post which settings you mean or what the problem is.
If it is a recent change you made, visit Diagnostics > Backup/Restore on the Configuration History tab. From there you can go back a few configuration revisions to undo recent changes. You can also do this from the console or ssh using option 15 from the menu.
If you want to start back over from a completely default configuration, you can perform a factory reset to default settings by using the GUI (Diagnostics > Factory Defaults) or ssh/console option 4.

Thank you very much for help me jimp, So I made Factory Default for option 4, but I would want to know whether possibility to do Factory Default only WebGui without changing the settings Pfsense Server.

If you factory reset it resets everything. There isn't a way to just reset one section related to the GUI. It still isn't clear what settings you are talking about though. Any number of things could affect the behavior and operation (and reachability) of the GUI.
You need to more clearly define what happened and what you cannot do that you could do before, for example.

I went in "Firewall -> Rules" and I dropped the rules to connect the Internet and now I can't access nor Domain I know create ports for them, but I would like come back that rules default for I just disable that rules and the future setting I do and doesn't work.

Using username "admin". Authenticating with public key "rsa-key-xxxxxxxxxx" Passphrase for key "rsa-key-xxxxxxxxx": *** Welcome to pfSense 2.3.4-RELEASE (amd64 full-install) on pfsense *** WAN (wan) -> rl0 -> v4/DHCP4: 192.168.10.11/24 LAN (lan) -> fxp0 -> v4: 192.168.1.1/24 v6: 2001:470:1f13:5c0:2::1/64 PORTAL (opt1) -> sis0 -> v4: 192.168.2.1/24 HENETV6 (opt2) -> gif0 -> v6: 2001:470:1f12:5c0::2/128 0) Logout (SSH only) 9) pfTop 1) Assign Interfaces 10) Filter Logs 2) Set interface(s) IP address 11) Restart webConfigurator 3) Reset webConfigurator password 12) PHP shell + pfSense tools 4) Reset to factory defaults 13) Update from console 5) Reboot system 14) Disable Secure Shell (sshd) 6) Halt system 15) Restore recent configuration 7) Ping host 16) Restart PHP-FPM 8) Shell Enter an option:
"Option 4" will reset everything - thus your firewall rules will be gone.
A choice like "reset only firewall rules on interface x" doesn't exist.(and that's why it is a smart thing to backup your settings often in the beginning ;)) (even smarter people are backing up all the time ;D )

If it's a recent change, like the last thing you did, then using the configuration history to step back to before that change is the simplest way to get back to a working setup.
