LAN is set to 192.168.1.1/24 by default and the same range is handed out by DHCP to your WAN.
Easiest fix is to change DHCP range to something different -

Please review your VirtualBox & Network settings.

I have Ubuntu 16.04 and VirtualBox installed on it. There is only one virtual machine on the VirtualBox - pfSense. I got rid off of WAN (I don't think I need it personally) by choosing the second option Set Interface IP addresses and I just didn't set the WAN IP address. Now when I put "192.168.1.1" in Chrome in the Ubuntu it communicates with the router instead, I think. That's why I decided to change the LAN IP address. These are my settings now:
But it still doesn't work.
I am not sure what info I can give you - I don't know much about pfSense or networking and I don't know what is important. I also don't know what most of those menu options in pfSense mean, the guide wasn't too helpful for someone who knows nothing about servers. If there is anything specific you want to know, just tell me.

He instalado VirtualBox en mi Ubuntu 16.04. Solo hay una maquina virtual (VM) en el VirtualBox y esa es pfSense. Creo que no voy a necesitar WAN y por eso me deshice de eso usando le segunda opción en el menu - Set Interface IP addresses. No entre ninguna dirección IP. No se que mas quieres que te diga - no se mucho de pfSense o de redes en general y no se que es importante. Tampoco se que significa la mayoría de las opciones en menú. SI se te ocurre algo mas que pueda poner aquí, pregúntame.

Basically, pfSense is a router which means it routes traffic from one subnet (e.g. WAN) to another (e.g. LAN) and vice versa. With only one interface it can do stuff like serving DHCP addresses but obviously it cannot route.
Filtering HTTPS means you have to implement a man-in-the-middle scenario to see and filter traffic which usually is encrypted (hence HTTPS). Good luck with such a task in general and your given networking skill-set on top.
Advise of the day: start small!
Use pfSense as a router and firewall, add packages as needed and learn about networking. That's enough to keep you busy at least until this winter.
