APU2 Thermal Sensor
-
Hi there I have a APU2C4 (AMD GX-412TC SOC )and would like to monitor the temp, as it is passively cooled through the casing. I have I tried all the settings in system/advanced/ misc, but none seem to work. Has anyone got this working? Btw I did a "dmidecode | less" and it returned "ACPI is supported")
Cheers Qinn
btw when I save the page system/advanced/misc pfS returns

I this a minor bug?
Version 2.3.2-RELEASE (amd64)
FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p5 -
Read this thread on the PCEngines forum. Look for the posts from Stephan. He compiled a kernel module that reads the temperature sensor. I got it working on my APU2C4, running pfSense 2.3.

Thanks worked like a charm ;) @the Dev's it would be nice if this feature would be added to pfS.

When will this updated module be integrated into pfSense? I just upgraded to V2.3.3 and again, I had to manually reinstall the module referenced in the above link to /boot/kernel
Thanks for making this happenFelix

Still an issue…
APU2C4 running PFS 2.3.4-RELEASE-p1 -
still works great as described earlier
proper support was promised in 2.4, not 2.3.4 -
The device ID is in 2.4:
