      Hi,

I just want to write a small script, that polls information from a 4G/LTE modem.

If the ppp interface is down /dev/cuaU0.3 becomes available - if up unavailable.
sure, the chat script is running…

But I want to exec AT!GSMINFO? and AT!GSTATUS? at any point to display it on the dashboard.

      AT!GSMINFO?
      !GSMINFO:
      Serving Cell:
      PLMN:          26203
      LAC:            31516

      AT!GSTATUS?
      !GSTATUS:

      RxM RSSI C1:  -106            RxD RSSI C1: -106

        Is this Sierra?
My first idea - don't use PPP. Not sure that the drivers for other modes (qmi, mbim) are available on FreeBSD though.
I'm currently using Sierra's EM7455 on Openwrt based router.
