      Hello All,

I am running pfSense 2.3.3 on my Netgate SG-2440 with the included 4GB eMMC flash.  I have both Snort and ntopng packets installed and running.  Are there any potential flash life span issues if I run the Snort and ntopng packages?

      Regards,
      Ultrajones

Should be fine. I wouldn't enable ntopng historical data though, you may run out of disk space.

Does anyone know if the SG-2440 (now with 32GB flash) is the same kind of NAND and performance they use on an SSD?  Can it handle a full install with logging?  Specs?  MLC, TLC, etc?

          Thanks.

It will never have the same performance as SSD. It is a USB device, not SATA.
