      I have a SG-1000.
I upgraded to the most recent version via the webGUI (2.4.0). After an hour of hanging, I did a power cycle on the device. At that time, it seemed to loose all of the configurations. As I was troubleshooting, I did the following:
      1. Attempted to restore last known good configuration
      2. Reset the device
      3. performed upgrade via shell
      4. Reinstalled latest firmware via USB/Console
      5. Attempted to assign the LAN IP

At no point could I assign the LAN IP to attempt to reconfigure the device. I had to remove it from the network as I cannot get it going again on the LAN. It will automatically retrieve the WAN IP.
