      Hi,
After upgrading to pfsense 2.4 it won't boot. No kernal panic messages or such. Attached is the screenshot.
the host is x64 with a pci passthrough for the network card. If I use kernel.old it boots.  but I guess that is the kernel from 2.3.4_1 installation.
Tried acpi off, safe mode, changing vt as described here https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=220923 and none of them help.
Is this a known issue? Any workarounds or ways to debug?
      Thanks

This turned out to be freebsd 11.0 issue with kvm. Switching my cpu to be emulated as opteron g3 was a workaround. Here are the bug details incase anyone else runs into the same issue.
