Where can 32-bit nanobsd 2.3.X stable releases be found?
-
Hiya, I have a trusty Alix 2d3 that I use as my home AP, and I understand that 32-bit is no longer supported for 2.4.X. The Alix will stay until its CF dies, so I do not want to change it. :)
However, I was at 2.3.4 and since the WPA2/KRACK vulnerability I wanted to upgrade without changing the box to plug that. I couldn't find any 2.3.X stable releases, so I updated with a 2.3.6 daily snapshot. Needless to say, it's mostly working but some things are broken, as expected.
Since it's a CF, I'd rather have a stable version to avoid unnecessary installs, is there a location for that? I couldn't find them, and nothing shows up for the stable branch in the GUI. Or is there a way of finding out which dailies are more stable?

On the main download page, same as 2.4.x.

Thanks, but the 32-bit image is grayed out:
Also, does this mean I need to do a full installation, or is there an upgrade shell command I can run? I've scanned the docs but I can't find anything other than use the GUI, which doesn't show updates.
EDIT:
https://atxfiles.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/old/
This doesn't have any 2.3.5+ releases.
EDIT2: Ok I see them one level up at https://atxfiles.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/ย but can I do an upgrade or just full installs?

Something must be up with your browser then, once you select 2.3.5 it should prompt for a file type and unlock i386. Somehow you've managed to confuse the JavaScript that controls the form.

Vanilla Chrome 62 here, I must be using strong javascript-confusion-fu :)

Works fine here on Chrome 62 and FF 57, sure there aren't any ad blockers, addons, or other things there that might interfere?

Could be AdBlock. In any case, it works with IE.
Now I'm going through the documentation it says I need to overwrite the CFโฆ But I just ran the 2.3.6 daily version upgrade process using the GUI without an issue, why isn't 2.3.5 listed in the GUI? It's so much simpler...
I think I'll wait until the next stable version, hopefully it will show up in the list? Otherwise I might just upgrade with the last 2.3.6 version tagged as the release candidate...

2.3.5 is listed in the GUI for updates if you have the correct update branch selected, but 2.3.6 isn't that different from 2.3.5 at the moment (or 2.3.5-p1 when that happens). You may as well just stay there for the time being.

Hmm, it wasn't appearing, it was showing 2.3.4 as the latest version until I switched to the dev branch. I'll keep an eye out, and will try on IE instead of Chrome when the next release comes around. Thanks for the help.
