      Hi All

      I recently upgraded pfsense from 2.4 to 2.4.0-RELEASE (amd64) built on Tue Oct 10 06:43:01 CDT 2017 FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p1

Ever since i did this upgrade after a period of time i can no longer access the gui.  I have been running pfsense for a couple of years with no issues but i have never had to diagnose a fault like this. It seems to be consuming loads more RAM i use to have 1gb set now since upgrade 2gb maybe a memory leak?

If anyone could help i would appreciate it. If someone has a link to the 2.4 before this release would also be good :)

      Mat

        Using either snmpd-hostresources or pfBlocker-dns-BL?

I am indeed using SNMP to monitor traffic.

Can you check cpu usage? ( top ) Snmpd might be consuming a cpu.
If so either update to 2.4.1 (if you don't need pppoe+vlan) or for the moment disable the hostresources item from services/snmp.
            Check if that helps.?
