      Hi.

      I encountered some scenarios, when this feature would be highly appreciated :)

      If you route a public IP subnet from your ISP to servers behind the pfsense dual-box CARP failover setup and one of interfaces fails, you have a problem. If WAN1 fails, CARP IP on WAN goes to second box on WAN2, but LAN CARP IP still sits on LAN1 on primary box, which is not a very brilliant idea, network wise…

      Anybody ever thought of an option in CARP config like "Automatically switch off CARP if this is designated primary and one interface is backup or failed" ?
