hello…
i have 7 wan 4 is 100mb ,3 are 40mb.and i did wan group for all , but the max speed i get out is 200mb i was having this problem in the old hardware and i buy new but still the same problem. can some one help me with this.
also other problem after the group of wan i cant access the original router settings throw the ip but if close the group i can.

Any info to work with.. How exactly are you trying to max this out…
So your thinking you should see 520Mbps? How are you thinking your going to get there - how many clients, how many sessions?
what hardware are you on for pfsense..

i just change my internet to 80M each i have total of 7 line.
i want to do grp to Tier 1 of all 7 so i must get 560m but i am geting 200m max .
my pfsense:

And now you are thinking you will get all added to another? No you will not be able to do so!
You think: 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s = 520 MBit/s
But this is false!!Right is: 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s = 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 100 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s+ 40 MBit/s nothing more and nothing less!
Only with MLPPP you will be able to add each line to one big line, but for this service the ISPs (internet service providers)
will see much more money then you will be able or willing to pay for! So doing load balancing and fail over will be here
the best for you as I see it right. You will have three main mode to realize this well.- service based routing
is mostly used for service spreading over several lines - session based routing
is mostly used for servers with internet contact in the DMZ - policy based routing
is mostly used in all other cases to spread the entire load over many different lines

Perhaps you will be using DDR3-1333MHz RAM over the DDR3-1600MHz RAM and your memory system gets saturated?

Again, you are doing a thinking false! That means you are prisoner of your own mind!
80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 = 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 + 80 and not 560 MBit/s
To get 560 MBit/s you will need to use MLPPP on both sides!!!! The Router or firewall must be able to support is

between 125000 and 1000000. Should do the trick here. 4 cpu core and 8 ports, based on the igb(4) driver
let you perhaps creating then the 4 x 8 = 32 queues and it need time to fill them up!!! So if you are narrow
down this to let us say 1 or 2 queues and set the size of them to 500000 to 1000000 it might be better
handling then the total amount of network traffic. - service based routing

As BlueKobold mentions, doesn't work that way..
You can for sure load balance across those connections… But you would need multiple clients or client doing multiple sessions to different places to load them all up to see your max..
No single client is going to go to some site like a speedtest and see all of them loaded up...
So lets ask again - how are you trying to max out all of your connections at the same time to see total bandwidth, etc.
Here is the simple solution.. You need a fatter pipe, then get a fatter pipe.. Trying to load up a bunch of smaller pipes doesn't do what your thinking..

I did this with 8 modems each with 250 Mbps down and 10 and 20 Mbps up and I was able to achieve about 960 Mbps download speed and 120 Mbps upload speed. The reason I didn't see a greater speed increase was two issues, first my computer and router only have gigabit ports on them. I also I was using two cable nodes and that was the physical limitation of their downstream and upstream channels. While this works great on bandwidth speed test sites in real-world scenarios like VoIP and TLS connections it is better to using one WAN which I believe there is a setting for. One of the issues that I had was I had to manually increment the MAC address on each interface as I was using a switch as a wan aggregator using VLANs and the ISP (My Job) that I was testing this on assigns IPs to customers by MAC addresses. I later took the modems out of bridge mode and just used the ISP provided modems in gateway mode and just added my PfSense box to the DMZ of each gateway. In the end like others have mentioned it is probably best to use policy based routing and give each over your subnets it's own WAN.
On a side note I was seeing near perfect scaling. I believe I posted about this I will try to find that post. If I find it I will add the link below.
