SG-2440 with 32 bit pfSense can't upgrade to 2.4.x

Hello, I have 2 SG-2440 purchased:
- First one had optional Wi-Fi adapter (not using it, it was unreliable)
- Second one was bought +1 year later or more, no optionals
I discovered that in second one I can auto-update to latest 2.4.2 version, but not on the first one, besides both having the same processor, an Intel Atom C2358. Took me little time to discover that was because 2.4.x not longer supports 32 bit, and my first SG-2440 came with a 32 bit install.
Bundled-in support for first device is expired, and for second one I never activated/registered. Trying to do it now Netgate site tells me serial number had no bundled cupon available or something like that. So downloading factory non-CE 64 bit image from customer portal is imposible without paying for support susbcription, wich I don't find justified for only having to update a purchased original Netgate device.
My questions are:
1. Is there some remaining way to upgrade my 32 bit factory non-CE pfSense to 64 bit without paying for support?
2. In case I'll go for the CE ADI version, I can still have an operational system with that? I saw all about how non-CE version has some special HW tuning and has an AWS VPN plugin. I really don't need the plugin, and I know Netgate staff are very reserved about what that tunings are, and I respect that. I only want to know if my SG-2440 could still be functional with the CE ADI image or the performance differences with the factory non-CE image are so big I'll regret it.
3. Also, if I install the CE ADI image, can I still perform BIOS upgrades from the web GUI via the Netgate_Coreboot_Upgrade plugin? Or that is another exclusive plugin for the non-CE version?

I give for granted I have to do that. But wich 64 bit edition? If you can read above, my main problem is I can't get a factory non-CE image unless I pay for subscription and I don't know if the CE ADI edition will work fine.

Thank you. So CE ADI will do ok? I'm worried about it getting slow without non-CE HW tuning. Not that I have a great load, I'm talking about 40 devices max connected to network.
