http://www.buffalotech.com/images/about_buffalo/BS-MP20_Datasheet.pdfI only recently found out about this 12 or 8 port NBase-T switch with vLans from buffalotech. Anyone know much about this brand? I've heard of them and heard they have good opensource supporting home router/firewalls, but that's about it.
edit: Noticed no latency or pps specs
edit2: Found this claiming 10us forwarding latency, which is quite worse than my HP-1810's 2.3us https://digital.gi/cache/pdf/Buffalo_BS_MP2012_EU_en_12.pdf

800$ that is a bit pricy.. When these come down to home budget prices will be wanting to grab one.. Or something like it.. The support for 802.3bz is what I am after.. So there is atleast this switch that supports it. But is there any nic's you can get that don't break the bank?

Define break the bank, Aquantia are selling there 5-10gbit NICs (AQN107 and AQN108) for less than $100(US), just every thing else is rather steep, as the switches, always a gotcha somewhere…

Not sure yet that I can do it all for under 800 but we will see.

Wow those cards look promising… And now those prices are great actually... Well within home/lab budgets..
Those would be a cheap way to get host to host running 10ge over copper... I might have to get a few of those... Thanks for mention of those!
