Anyone use Iwill Technology ITX Fanless Server PC i3 7100U 6*lan

Hi,

I am new with Pfsense and I’m about to buy a mini PC for my first try. But before I make final decision I would like to get some feedback and if you has any experience with this specification.

Here I found IWILL Technology with below product specification:

and I selected:

1. Intel Core i3 7100U dual core 2.4GHz (Kaby Lake)
2. 4GB DDR4
3. 128 GB SSD storage
4. 6*Intel 82583V 10/100M/1000M Lan

I also aware of Kaby Lake processors hyper-threading issue (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=132783.msg730001#msg730001), But I don’t know if I disable the hyper-threading does it have a significant performance issue ?

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated!! :)

Looks like a MiniSys reseller to me.

Iwill used to be a noted server maker around Y2K. Looks like this is not the same company.

Just remember that these chicom specials are disposable boxes and there will be no real warranty.

maybe, I'm not sure.. but they are in business more than 10 years.

I have received my package, super fast delivery with good condition.
I didn't have time to test it yet but I will update you later regarding the installation and performance .
