Extremely low power box for pfsense/FreeRADIUS 3 under $200

Does it has an extremely low power box for pfSense and FreeRADIUS 3 under $200?
Currently I am using a raspberry pi 3 with DaloRADIUS GUI for FreeRADIUS 2 and a Unifi controller in a same box for one of the WiFi systems. The gateway of WIFI is a RouterOS MIPS box. The issue of this system is that DaloRADIUS GUI does not support VLAN assigning except that I do it one by one by hand to edit the MySQL data entries.
Can I use a SG-1000 pfSense box with MySQL and FreeRADIUS 3 as the gateway and FreeRADIUS authentication? Can the Unifi controller be installed in it? If not, any suggestion? I noticed the APU2 consumes 6 watts in some post.
By the way, currently I have used pfSense in 2 places as router and WiFi authentication server. The pfSense GUI of FreeRADIUS is quit good(much better than DaloRADIUS) and it support SQL database!

If you need to run a unifi controller, I would highly recommend their cloud key… Cloud really has nothing to do with t... Its just a computer you plug into your switch - if poe all the better and it runs there.

You have not given any spec's on throughput requirements - but sure freerad could run on the sg1000
The sg1000 and the cloudkey totals would be right around your 200$ budget.

Yes, SG-1000 can do that without issues. What kind of internet speeds do you have? There is a script that installs unifi controller on pfSense but we do not recommend it or endorse it. I'm also not sure if it will compile on ARM. Best bet is to get separate cloud key.

UniFi Controller runs fine on pfSense on x86, but not on ARM. While in theory you could run the controller on ARM, I don't recommend it for self-installs. If you want non-x86, get the hardware (like the cloud key), it's probably ARM or MIPS, but it's well supported.

It is a 25Mbps or 60Mbps download speed Comcast cable in the coming contract. The unifi controller is relying on Oracle Java 8 and its own MongoDB. If pfSense for ARM cannot run it, I may continue to use the Raspberry Pi 3 as the unifi controller.
Maybe I can wait for Netgate's espressobin. I saw its power consumption is listed as 1 watt when running in 1Ghz. SG-1000 is 2.5 watts.

Are you aware that Netgate will not sell espresso.bin hardware? You will have to order it from a different source. And it's not yet determined if pfSense for espresso.bin will be free or available with a (Gold?) subscription or whatever.

A 1.5W difference might become relevant if you run gear on batteries only.
Otherwise it's just insignificant. -
If your worried about a 1.5 watt difference.. As jahonix mentioned already - are you on battery? You would be talking pennies over a year difference in elec cost otherwise..
