      Hi,
Every hour my pfsense goes down. I need to restart it the hard way to make it working again.
I don't know how to diagnosis that.

When PfSense goes down, i cant' ping it from LAN.
You will find downtime graph attached to this topic.

      Thanks for your help !

Check the logs and the console. You probably have bad hardware (something like no cooling or a PSU issue).

I had that exact problem a week ago and it was driving me nuts. I thought it was my ISP, but it turned out that it was a bad SSD.

i had the same issue, it would lock up the whole system, only error i could find was about the wan so i checked those settings and unchecked the block private networks, my cable modem has a built in router from TWC and will only hand out one IP which happens to be a 192.168.x.x address, have not had one lock up since.

Are you using hardware AES-NI for your IPsec tunnels ?

                Hi all,
I wonder it was an SSD issue. I changed it and now it works like a charm…. Seems like file interfaces. was corrupted.

But I have no idea why it was going doing every 1 h precisely...

                Thanks for all your replies.

If a network problem occurs exactly every hour,
then you have most likely a problem with the renew of your IP-adress lease.
Try a fixed IP-adress on the WAN side if possible.
Also powersettings of the SSD can cause this problem.

                  Grtz
