      Hello,

We want to use pfSense firewall. In the website there are 2 versions of pfSense available, which one do you recommend to install and what the differences are between them? Thank you in advance.

For a new setup go with 2.4.2. The version 2.3.5 is only there for people that for some reason have not yet been able to update.

pfsense 2.3.5 is the last version for 32 bit hardware.  pfsense 2.4.2 is for 64 bit hardware.

If your hardware supports 64 bit, go with 2.4.2.

Thank you for your reply. Is 2.4.2 version stable?
