Cannot install PfSense APU

So…I have no idea what i'm doing.
I have downloaded all the images from the PfSense site, from nano to full, i386 to amd64.
Most of them crap out at:
drive 0x000f2520: PCHS=0/0/0 translation=lba LCHS=1024/32/63 s=2076672
Space available for UMB: c0000-ee800, f0000-f2520
Returned 253952 bytes of ZoneHigh
e820 map has 7 items:

2: 00000000000f0000 - 0000000000100000 = 2 RESERVED

2 PfSenseI select either, and I get '/' (it used to spin when I was doing this on a 386board.
I'm at a loss as to what i'm doing wrong and would really like some guidance.
Does it matter size of Flash Drive? I'm using a 2gb USB Flash...What I'm doing:
Plug Jump Drive in.
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb
let that run
format
dd if=/Pfsenseimagetoburn of=/dev/sdb bs=16kI know the writting of zero's is not nescassary....</nano>

Issue is resolved.
It was user error…..Make sure your connection speed is 9600 and not the apu default.
