      Hi there from what I've read so far, if you want to access Sonos devices that are on a different subnet than where the controller (smartphone, PC or tablet) is, you will need IGMP proxy (pfSense service) or IGMP snooping (managed switch), both I have no experience with, but I am a fast learner  ;) . What are the pro's an con's and how do I set it up.

        you could try installing & configuring avahi
