Ive put pfsense on a Firebox watchguard x750e. The lan seems to go to sleep to some or all traffic in < 24 hours light use. Longtime ipcop user but pfsense newbie. Any help please ?

Which interface type do you have assigned as LAN?

Did you disable msi for the msk NICs? https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/PfSense_on_Watchguard_Firebox#Known_Issues_2

Unfortunately this may just be a failing NIC. Those boxes are all many years old and most have thousands of hours on them. My own box is no longer reliable.

Somewhere is configured for power saving?

Try system/advance/network… disable all those OFFLOAD options.

Mmm, good point. My box was, relatively, stable for a while after I disabled powerd. You might try that if it's enabled.
