Bug in initial install if LAN IP range changed
-
If you specify another network for the LAN, e.g .192.168.0.1, then the setup process fails after you save settings as then the HTTP redirect blocker interferes and you cant get back to the UI.
Either you have to initially use the default LAN segment, then change the Disable HTTP Strict Transport Security must be enabled, THEN the LAN segment can be changed.
Otherwise you have to hook up the console to change the LAN segment if you're stuck in the HSTS loop.
Ugh.

That is now fixed in 2.4.4:
https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8524If you get into that situation you should be able to reboot to get the new lan subnet applied as expected. You do need the console to do that though.

@stephenw10 Yeah the console solved the problem.
In changing the LAN IP range in the UI it cahnges the interface but not the DHCP server config. Console was only solution.
Thanks!
