In the package list for Squid3, I see:
squid3 beta 3.4.9_1 pkg 0.2 platform: 2.2
squid3-dev beta 3.3.13_2 pkg 2.2.8 platform: 2.2
Maybe I'm not up on the latest nomenclature, but it seems to me that the dev version should be higher (later) than the non-dev version.
