Squid-3.5 series became DEPRECATED with the release of Squid-4 series

Given that it took until Squid 4.1 for it to be considered released for production use, and that the FreeBSD ports tree still has 4.x marked as
squid-devel
, I still have doubts about it being ready. -
HI JImp,
it is in progress https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=229601
Thanksfred

Hi Jimp,
squid is no longer marked as squid-devel :

That change didn't make the quarterly ports branch (missed it by a few days), so there isn't a guarantee that it will make it in the next release. Unless it requires little to no configuration modifications, it may have to wait until after the release.

the new version squid 3.5 - squid-3.5.28
-
@jimp will be this in new version in PF 2.4.4?
-
Will what be in 2.4.4? Squid 4.x? Unlikely.
3.5.28 will probably make it in eventually, but it's not in FreeBSD ports yet.
