      Hello

      Can someone help me

I would like to know what would be the ideal computer configuration for 100 clients using PFsense 2.4.3

I did some testing on an Intel (R) Pentium (R) D 2.80 GHz, 4 ram and had problem

      Thanks

        Hello,

you should provide more details. What are your requirements?
Only Firewalling? VPN? Proxy? IPS/IDS? Bandwith? VLANs? Inter VLAN Routing?

Please try to give more details on your infrastructure.

        Kind regards

          Hello,

I'll use the tools available in pfsense, which you mentioned (Firewall, Proxy, Bandwith, VLANs, Inter VLAN Routing) including packages like squid, e2guardian (squidguard), and more.

          Thanks

Unfortunately "100 clients" is a metric without proper definition or meaning.

100 people browsing Facebook have much different requirements than 100 gamers or 100 torrentors.

@bepo said in Minimum requirements for 100 clients:

That's a start, but even that doesn't help much. Someone running torrents could consume all available bandwidth in a heartbeat with minimal effort, but the same bandwidth could support a much larger number of typical web browsing users.
