HAPV antivirus package not working

Not sure if it's miss-configuration or it's just plain broke but HAPV is not working as expected. After configuring HAVP and testing it by going to http://www.eicar.org/ and downloading the test virus file it does not get blocked and will download without issues on any client / OS behind pfsense. I followed the install procedure on this youtube:

(at time 18:22)I have squid3 and suidguard3 installed also… not sure if that conflicts with the proxy settings in HAPV?
Finally, the log php page displays nothing.

In that tutorial HAVP was set as transparent. If you have squid installed you would prefer to set HAVP as "Parent for Squid".
"Transparent" is used for HAVP in standalone mode. I use that mode for HAVP without Squid.

Ok yes that fixed it! Is that setting ok with squiguard running as well?
