      Hi all,

So yesterday everything was working fine, and noticed there was an update available, so I upgraded to 2.4.3_1. Afterwards, I noticed that IPv6 is not functioning properly anymore. I'm being assigned addresses just fine, but it's not routing any of the traffic. From the router itself I am able to 'ping6' anything I want, but on the LAN side nothing goes either way.

Is anyone able to assist on what the issue might be? I did find another post about it and I tried applying a patch (https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/commit/c9159949e06cc91f6931bf2326672df7cad706f4.patch) but with no such luck.

      Thanks for any assistance!

How do you have IPv6 configured on that device?

        You see any logged errors?

It's not a problem I'm aware of, it's still working fine here.

So what's strange is while poking around and not changing any settings, it seems to have started working again.

Not sure if it's possible to delete this post in the mean time.

Better to leave it up for someone who might also hit that IMO.

I have seen significant delays pulling a PD before. I always blamed my ISPs flaky v6. 😉

Just didn't want to waste any "space" on the forum :)

What's really strange is both the WAN and LAN on pfSense had an address, and my laptop was even given it's usual address. It just seemed like a routing issue. Not taking blame away from my ISP, they are terrible, but I'm just not sure!

Will report back if I have any more issues!

                Maybe this one :
The latest upgrade ( 2.4.3-RELEASE-p1 ) came out about 2 month ago.
Better check out why you discovered this only yesterday.
