Turn off sounds

How do I turn off the startup sound for pfSense 2.2 as well as the beep every time I login?

System > Advanced, Notifications tab for startup/shutdown
System > Advanced, Admin Access tab, check "Disable logging of webConfigurator successful logins" to stop the login beep.

Or just pull the speaker/peizo.

If you have other sounds sounding for events like connections blocked for snort of pfBlocker, going to Diagnostics -> Command Prompt and typing:

sysctl hw.syscons.bell=0

Will disable sound for all events.
