      Hey guys

Is a HPE NC522SFP Network card working in the newest version of pfSense? And if yes, can I only integrate the card, start the machine and the card is detected by pfSense?

Maybe one of you has the experience :)

Maybe a Chelsio T520-SO-CR SFP+ should be better, because it's in the FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE Hardware Notes.

Here the same question - is the card detected automatically after installation?

The Chelsio card will work. The HP branded card probably won't after Googling it. Looks like a QLogic/NetXen device.

Are you able to get the actual PCI device and vendor IDs for that?
