FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p3Cant log in using IE8 which is default with Win7.
You get the login page up, can key in username & password, click login and it appears to load something, but then displays a blank login page again for you to retype your username & password over again.

"After Jan. 12, 2016, only the most recent version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical support and security updates," said Roger Capriotti, director of Internet Explorer, in the full blog post. "For example, customers using Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, or Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 SP1 should migrate to Internet Explorer 11 to continue receiving security updates and technical support."I stick with IE8 as later versions of IE slows machines up a bit more and some browser automation works better in IE8.
fwiw.

But it loads the page fine in general? Seems the only system I have with IE 8, an XP VM, won't load the web interface at all since we disabled RC4 ciphers recently. Though newer OSes than XP may be better about that. Outside of that, I'm not aware of anything that'd break with IE 8. Maybe messed up cookies and/or cache, try clearing those and see if it works.

And try toggling compatibility mode.
But most of all, dump IE 8.

Its a freshly installed win7 machine, as I found a way to install software & updates that bypass linux authentication (sudo) the other day which is not good, but it ironically wants me to authenticate to uninstall the same software.
I'm embarassed to say I didnt try compatibility mode as I didnt download the updates for it, but a quick check toggling that shows it works and logs in fine, although I normally use FF.
