I am unable to connect to the openVPN I've set up. On the main page the config says "Unable to contact daemon"(1), under the routing page it has the wrong gateway despite it being DHCP and I've rebooted the server(2). I'm not sure what steps to take next.

"unable to contact daemon" means it isn't running. The usual cause of that is that you have some incorrect custom options pasted into the config.

restart it and connect to any low ping server.
