    Captive portal CARP sync logged in users

      Hi,

      I'm playing with the CARP setup and was wondering does CARP sync the logged in users for the captive portal?

      Under the sync options i have EVERYTHING ticked, however when i authenticate a user, its does not show as an authenticated user on the failover box,

        No. I don't think so.

        When I ran a HA pair for captive portal, I turned off sync for that feature and did not have captive portal running on the secondary/backup, so traffic would flow.

        I determined it was more important to keep the phone at the front desk from ringing in the event of a failure, than having some silly captive portal active in that rare case.
