      Hey guys,

We are looking to create a basic pfSense template and its a requirement that "Disable hardware checksum offload" is set for VirtIO (massive performance difference in our environment).
      https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/virtualization/virtio-driver-support.html

Because of how we have to create the template for this, I want to capture this before the first boot. At the install you can go into the CLI which would allow us to set this setting, shut down and capture this as a template (putting a basic config file in may be done here as well).

What I cant find anywhere is how I can set this setting from the CLI. I have checked /config/config.xml and /boot/loader.conf and neither look to hold this.

      Any advice?

In the config file this appears as tags:
        <disablechecksumoffloading></disablechecksumoffloading>
