Avahi issue - Upgrade to 2.4.4 correct. When enter to Services - Avahi an error is shown:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '|', expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /usr/local/www/pkg_edit.php on line 913

I'm getting it too, but for Squid.

EDIT: For every package that is accessible via pkg_edit.php.

did you reboot after the update? perhaps the upgrade of php failed?

the multiple exception by pipe is a new function in php 7 afaik

it might be a syntax error, but i'm thinking something went wrong when you updated to 2.4.4 & you are still running on an older version of php

Yes, I'm not seeing that in Avahi or Squid so something is different on your system.

I would expect far more errors though if you still had php5.6 installed. Is the system log otherwise clean?

              I find a solution.
I have unnoficial packages. The solution is remove all content from

              /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/Unnoficial.conf

              and execute

              pkg-static upgrade pfSense-upgrade

When I restart the system, the errors are gone.

Ah, yup. If you're loading from some random pkg repo then, yes, anything could happen! 😉

I found a solution to install unnoficial packages without errors.
