freeradius3 Authentication issues.

Hey Guys,

I am following the guide posted at this blog: https://blog.vonhewitt.com/2017/08/pfsense-openvpn-setup-with-freeradius3p2/

I see he is on reddit and I am hoping he is active here or someone else can assist. I have the first part setup with the openVPN working but I am running into issues with setting up the freeradius package/server.

I get through his radius guide and when I test I get:

The following input errors were detected:

    Authentication failed.

I then go to the logs and see:

/diag_authentication.php: Error during RADIUS authentication : No valid RADIUS responses received 
(0) Login incorrect (Failed retrieving values required to evaluate condition): [username] (from client openVPN port 0)

I double-checked everything I seem to have followed his guide properly.

Hi, in his howto there is nothing about a user. so did you add a user? did you test it under diagnostics/authentication as discribed? Your log says, there is no username retrieved...
