Was just sitting reading some forums when I suddenlly couldn't surf any more, after hours of fault-seeking I came up with that if I disable the dnsforwarder everything works, but as soon as I enable it I have no web anymore….

If I manually add dns-servers to my clients everything works fine, but not if I use the automatic setting.
This function is vital to me, one of the reasons I installed pfSense from the beginning, using it to redirect some domains....

Couldn't find anything in the system logs either, at least nothing to do with dnsmasq, only error in sys-log:

      Feb 17 20:02:39 php-fpm[91218]: /rc.filter_configure_sync: filter_generate_port: is not a valid destination port.
Feb 17 20:02:38 dhcpleases: kqueue error: unkown
      Feb 17 20:02:37 check_reload_status: Reloading filter
Feb 17 20:02:36 dhcpleases: Could not deliver signal HUP to process because its pidfile (/var/run/dnsmasq.pid) does not exist, No such file or directory.
      Feb 17 20:02:35 check_reload_status: Syncing firewall

      Latest resolver logs:

      Feb 17 20:04:32 dnsmasq[13790]: read /etc/hosts - 26 addresses
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: read /etc/hosts - 26 addresses
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: read /etc/hosts - 23 addresses
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: using nameserver 8.8.4.4#53
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: using nameserver 8.8.8.8#53
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: using nameserver 213.191.74.19#53
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: using nameserver 130.237.72.200#53
      Feb 17 20:02:38 dnsmasq[13790]: reading /etc/resolv.conf

      Please help!

          This:
          @Koenig:

          Feb 17 20:02:39 php-fpm[91218]: /rc.filter_configure_sync: filter_generate_port: is not a valid destination port.

          shouldn't happen.

Checking /etc/rc.filter_configure_syn.rv will bring me to /etc/inc/filter.inc and deep down in there function filter_generate_port will pop up the error : some source port in a (firewall / NAT ?) rule has no valid source port.

Btw : which pfsense version ?

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
