I can't find any documentation on adding an extra HD to my new SG-5100. I picked up an M.2 drive and installed it. When I boot and go to the Dashboard, I only see the 8gb storage. I assume I need to partition, format, and setup the mount point but could use some help pointing me in the right direction.

That is unsupported. If you wish to use the increased storage reinstall to the new drive and forget the eMMC exists.
